Excellent tour guide - very informative and lots of fun. Lots of humorous stories and little-known historical facts about Boston

My husband and I have taken a number of tours over the years and this is my most difficult to review. Either you like the tour or you don’t. We spent the better part of the tour trying to figure out if our guide, John, was play acting or just arrogant. John was very knowledgeable and had a lot to share but he spoke quickly and was hard to follow. He seemed brash at times and made pointed comments to the children on the tour. When our 90 minute tour passed the 2 hour mark, we left. I have never done this and felt guilty leaving but sometimes less is better. 3 stars for the information.

The tour was very disappointing. The guide started out well but then told too many stories that flipped between the history of the tour to current times, very hard to follow. Also too many of her own opinions and feeling. The information given was to long and drawn out to follow. Very boring and didn’t cover much of the Freedom Trail.
