Last October I hosted visitors from the Jersey Shore, who had never visited Boston. Knowing Boston as I do, I wanted them to learn the history while enjoy the scenery. This tour was perfect and filled both of my desires. The traffic that day was very heavy with construction everywhere. The Tour Guide filled in the numerous delays with so many details of history and very entertaining stories about the city and its famous inhabitants. My visitors and I learned much on that tour, while being driven around town with a very comical man at the wheels. They loved every moment of the City-Wide Tour, as did I. Don't miss this opportunity to see Boston.

A daily ticket for this hop on hop off service is currently $31 per adult. Not bad value for all day transport around the city with live commentary. Our first ride driver was JC who was really well informed about Boston's history and super entertaining in his delivery, clearly a man with aspirations to be a comic. Just a word about the advertised "free" Harbour trip, if the ticket is $41 it's not really free as our trolley only ticket was $31

I booked with this one with fewer stops simply because they had the optional harbor tour, and the other companies were sold out of tours for the day we wanted to go. MISTAKE! The harbor tour WAS NOT EVEN AN OPTION THIS DAY because the tall ships were in the harbor and therefor were not even allowed to run the tours. NOTHING about this was on your sight! I tried to ask why we could not be given the excursion tours they were offering since we were felt misled and the guy was very rude about it and tried saying it was on the sight. Well fyi if I had known the ships were in harbor I would have kept my hotel room at the airport to watch them as well but I moved out to the suburbs for a quieter stay. The bus ride itself was was good with 2 of 3 drivers we had, the other was crass at 9:30 AM just anticipating what his day was going to be.
