Great to see, but had to be on a guided tour, no time to look around on your own, seems a bit over priced and the re-enactment was good, they were very loud, and felt more like it was for children. Felt we could have learnt more.

I was on the last tour of the day so it was only a group of three people so didn't have the same affect as it would with a larger tour group. Be prepared to roleplay, however this is optional.

I'm kind of frugal but this is one experience you'll want to shell out the $30 entry fee. Excellent performances by the actors make you part of the experience and you learn a ton about the history, you tour the boat, there a vial of tea from that night in 1775 there and a very Hogwarts-like moment (I won't ruin the surprise). And for $4 you can taste all the teas that were thrown over that night. I never knew George Washington drank green tea! We had such a good time (and are history nerds), we went back for the Tavern night which they hold 1-2 Fridays a month. Tavern night is typical colonial dinner (ham, chicken legs - it was tasty) cash bar colonial drinks, riotous rebellious talk, music and a dance or two. Great night out for singles, couples and families.
