This is a great experience for a family visiting Boston and wanting to get some history in their sightseeing diet. It uses actors/guides who reenact certain aspects of the run-up to the Boston Tea Party and gives the audience a chance to participate as well by playing historic characters and even throw some 'tea in the harbor'. There are good multi media presentations that help provide some context for why the tea party took place and what happened afterwards. This is not deep history or a learned examination of the political currents of 18th century Boston. Instead it is an entertaining and engaging presentation of an important episode in US history. My second grade son loved the chance to throw the tea overboard and was talking about his character and what we thought happened to him after the tea party for days afterward. I think families with young-ish kids would probably get the most out of it, but there were couples in their 20's who seemed to have a great time as well. It's a good accompaniment to a walk on the freedom trail or tour.

It was both fun and educational. A variety of experiences from the interactive town hall meeting to tossing the tea to viewing relics. The movie about Lexington and Concord was excellent. Great for couples and families.

If I wanted to see an entertaining reenactment of a historical event, I’d go to Broadway. What’s being done here is somewhat cheesy and very amateurish. Just tell me the story and forget the role play. Total waste of money.
