The Kentucky Bourbon Trail has numerous ways to experience bourbon. Distillery tours, bourbon tastings, cocktail classes and more. But, we are the only look at the bourbon industry from the water!

Along this tour you will learn the history of bourbon while you sip some of its signature products. Not only are the bourbons you will learn about and try on board incredible, you can find them no where else in the world, as the are Single Barrel Barrel Picks that our captains and crew have specifically picked from bourbon warehouses just for you! In fact, some of the bourbons you will try came from bourbon warehouses floating on the Mississippi River! River Aged Bourbon on a boat!

Our Captains are not only professional mariners, but also phenomenal history guides. They will entertain you and spin for you yarns that are not told anywhere else, or in a more complete picture way, than is offered onboard the boat. My guy and I absolutely loved this experience! It was one of the highlights of our first time exploring the Lexington KY area & bourbon trail. The captain had a great sense of humor and the flow of information about bourbon history, the KY river, and Frankfurt history & present day was all woven together nicely. We would definitely recommend this tour, and will book another if we return to this area of KY! Thank you River Boat crew for sharing your passion for history & bourbon with us - your extra hospitality touches were very kind too - this tour made our trip!

We would highly recommend this tour! We really enjoyed it. Nathan provided a very interesting and informative history of the river in Frankfort, while Alison safely navigated us up and down river. If you’re going to be in Frankfort check it out!
