We booked the tour about a month before our trip. Payment was simple, logistics were clear and concise! Rob ended up being our driver and picked us/dropped us off in Louisville. The van was nice, equipped with snacks and water and Rob really made the whole experience a really enjoyable time. He was patient, funny, full of info, played bourbon trivia with us on the way home and gave away great prizes! I am definitely going to recommend this company to anyone I know who is interested in an all around wonderful experience! Thanks again Rob and company for being professional and making it fun!!!

Luke, Thank you so much for this kind review. I'm delayed responding here but I do remember you and your three friends as you guys were a blast. We had a great day in Bardstown, KY and construction projects that were underway the day we visited distilleries are nearing completion. You should book a tour with us again to come and see the changes! I would be happy to show you all around :) Thank you.

We love Travel The Trail! From initial booking Lee was very accommodating and communicative. We had an amazing first time distillery tour experience with our guide Rob, the van was very clean and we felt safe. He went above and beyond to make our trip special and is great at snapping pictures 😊. Please support this local business. We will for sure be back!!! Erica, Cherylee, Rhi and Luke

Thank you for this nice review! I'm very delayed in responding but I do remember you guys as you were so much fun! I enjoyed showing the four of you around Bardstown, KY. Please come back and see us again on a future visit. The Expansion project that was underway at Heaven Hill when we were there is nearing completion. There is also a new distillery opening soon not far from Bardstown. There are plenty of other places to explore.

Lee was an excellent tour guide and the entire experience was exactly what we were hoping to experience. Having someone else take care of the logistics made the trip so enjoyable. Even during these times of COVID, we were still able to have a safe and fun time.
