My wife and I very much enjoyed the trip. Bob was our guide and is a part owner in this business. Despite, no doubt, having recited the same words over and over, he seemed genuine and fresh and was easy to talk to about this tour and Branson in general.
Missouri once, apparently, was one of the top wine-producing areas in the country prior to prohibition. The remnants have revived themselves into a fairly successful venture. While the actual wineries are out on the country, what you really tour here is their tasting rooms. If you're expecting to see casks & barrels, this isn't that tour (though the first stop has a copper still in the back).
Each wine stop was ready for our visit and the basic tastings are included in your ticket price. The first stop had an upgrade available and if you're a spirit drinker like me, I do recommend doing a tasting of their liquors.
Our final stop as the Black Oak Grill where they have a pre-selected menu for the tour. Salad, bread, choice of entrée & dessert are included. I don't recommend the cheesecake. The rest of the meal was excellent and the additional lubrication provided by the wine stops probably aids conversation.
We had a great time.
