À quoi s'attendre
1
Vermont Spirits Distilling Co
Our first stop of the day will be at Vermont Spirits Distillery (Vermont’s oldest craft distillery). This distillery offers a portfolio of award-winning artisanal spirits using local agriculture sourced from their partnerships with farmers around Vermont. Their small-batch Vermont Gold Vodka is made from 100% pure Vermont maple sap – an industry first – yielding perhaps the smoothest, purest vodka possible. Other spirits are: No 14 Bourbon finished with Pure Vermont Maple, Coppers American Gin, Coppers Sugarwood Gin and Coppers Barrel Gin – all crafting using organic botanicals and hand-pick wild Vermont juniper berries.
2
Quechee General Store - Cabot Station
You can’t come to Vermont without stopping at one of our country stores! Quechee General Store features the complete collection of Cabot cheeses, plus cheeses from other favorite Vermont artisans. It offers the area’s largest mix of maple syrups and delicious “farm stand” products from the area’s most beloved producers. Quechee General Store is proud to be the first independently owned Cabot affiliate store. We love their huge selection of amazing cheeses and other Vermont-made products!
3
Harpoon Brewery
Our next stop will be at the Harpoon Brewery where lunch is available for purchase on the premises. Harpoon was founded in 1986 and is an employee-owned brewery. Harpoon is best known for its Harpoon India Pale Ale. It brews multiple other year-round beers including the award-winning Dark, UFO Hefeweizen, UFO Raspberry Hefeweizen, and UFO White, UFO Light Force, UFO Maine Blueberry, and selected Clown Shoes beers. Harpoon also offers seasonal beers, including an Octoberfest Marzen style Ale and Harpoon Camp Wannamango. They also offer the ‘100 Barrel Series’, which consists of a number of one-of-a-kind batches. Beer samples are available for purchase.
4
SILO Distillery
Silo distillery is Vermont craft distillery, distilling small-batch spirits from Vermont-grown grain and local ingredients. Their process begins with grain selection from Grembowicz Farm in North Clarendon, Vermont. Everything at Silo is done, start to finish, in their barn distillery. Sustainability is also part of their process; recycling the water used throughout distillation, and sending spent grains to farmers to use for feed. We love their amazing barn with a real silo tower. The ambience is truly unique and makes for a great tasting experience.
5
River Roost Brewery
River Roost Brewery offers aromatic, hop-forward, full-flavored beers brewed in 10BBL batches. Established in 2016, owner and operator Mark Babson, a former brewer and quality technician in the industry, now spends his days in the brewhouse or behind the bar creating favorites like Más Verde, Mo’rilla, and Glimpse. River Roost Brewery has an “at-home” atmosphere that epitomizes the Vermont craft brewery scene! We are deeply in love with their great IPA. Beer samples are available for purchase.
6
Long Trail Brewing Company
Our last stop of the day will be at Long Trail Brewing Company. Inspired by the 273-mile hiking trail that traverses through the Green Mountains, Long Trail Brewing Company has been a caretaker of Vermont craft beer since 1989. Moved and motivated by the local culture and surroundings, they work hard to create beers worthy of our Vermont roots. From small-batch recipes to their flagship Long Trail Ale and freshly formulated Trail Hopper IPA, Long Trail is committed to crafting a trail-worthy family of beers. Long trail is located right near a river, with a cozy bar seating area and super friendly staff. This day tour concludes by returning all customers to their original pick-up locations. Vermont Spirits Distilling Co
30
Long Trail Brewing Company
