As a 70-year old, I was a little hesitant about taking this walking tour, but in the vernacular, it was a piece of cake. What made the trip so valuable and memorable was the amazing tour guide, Matt A. He was so knowledgable and informative about the bridge, and had obviously gone to great lengths to know the history, stories, and current events concerning the bridge and it's place in the New York-Brooklyn connection. The DUMBO tour after the crossing was also amazingly informative and worth ten times the cost of the tour. I can't say enough good about Matt's tour. I would take this tour again, and any tour that Matt was leading. It may have been the most impressive part of my entire 10 days in New York City.

Our tour guide, Dustin, knowledge of the things on the tour was really good. He had a tall flag for us to stay together because it was heavy traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge last Saturday. He pointed out a famous pizza place and talked about the old street car tacks on the road.
The Brooklyn Bridge Park is really nice.Next time I go on the Brooklyn Bridge , though , it won't be on a Saturday during the summer. I almost got run over by a bicyclist.

I booked this tour for three couples to tour the Brooklyn Bridge for Monday 6/26. To start off we had a magnificent day weather-wise perfect touring weather- We arrived at our meeting place at Tweed Courthouse and met up with Sean our tour guide- Very close to where our hotel was. There were about 30 people in our group. Right from the start Sean was engaging and extremely knowledgeable about all things Brooklyn as he is a native. It was very obvious that he loved his subject matter. The walking tour lasted 2 and 1/2 hours and the time passed too quickly- I wanted to hear more! We all would highly recommend this tour and would love to take any other tour that Sean is involved with.
