what a fantastic way to discover the streets of Brooklyn. They have some amazing bike paths to safely ride along. Fantastic views back to Manhatten and taste tested our way around the local streets. Loved the stop to sample key lime pie, why have I not tried this before. Was a little tricky to find to meeting place other than that highly recommend.

This is a long delayed review as we went on the Brooklyn bike tour back in March 2020. The tour was hands down the best experience we had in NY and we enjoyed every minute of it. I have to disagree with the review below which felt that John had superficial knowledge of Brooklyn. In our experience, John was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the area (there was even a follow up quiz we could take about everything we learnt on the tour but never got around to it!). John also gave us great recommendations for places to eat and took us to have key lime pie! It is really amazing how much ground you cover on the tour and as novice riders we were really impressed that we didn't feel overwhelmed with the riding. If it wasn't for COVID we would've booked more tours with John in NY.

I decided that I would arrange for a bike tour through neighborhoods in Brooklyn for my daughter's birthday who really loves to ride her bike. Unsure whether a child as young as her is common I called John a couple of days before and he reassured me that he would make sure that her experience was memorable. He delivered beyond expectations. He was engaged and engaging and shared his knowledge of the Brooklyn neighborhoods in such a friendly way that my daughter spent most of the time talking to him as I trailed behind. He shared some historical trivia that this Brooklyn born NYer had no idea of and my appreciation for the "borough that's thorough" has only grown. The 15-mile tour was a bit much for me being out of shape but John always checked in and made sure that I rested when I needed to. My 10-year-old daughter, on the other hand, took the whole trip in stride and was eager to ride as much as possible. I couldn't have been more proud of her and more thankful that she came away from the tour even more excited about riding and her home, Brooklyn. Thank you John.
