Well, the day before the weather was forecast to be rain and John called me and offered for me to cancel (all day bike tour) as the others had - with full refund, if I wanted to. Being Irish and used to wet weather, I hoped the forecast would be more wrong than right and decided to take up his offer of continuing, despite me being the only customer on the tour. John was more than willing to do the tour - so off we went just as the rain started to fall. Despite wet and at times windy weather, John ensured nothing was missed and we did the full 30 miles or so. Seeing living Brooklyn up close on a dreary and at times wet day, only heightened the experience for me. John was a great tour guide and being solo , I was able to ask lots of questions which helped me get a lot out of the ride. Despite the weather, a couple of punctures and low temperatures - I had a ball and would like to recommend this tour and John's company to anyone interested in doing a cycle tour around the greater New York area. 5 star. As the ride concluded and we returned to the starting point - John reminded us of the old cliché " What about The luck of the Irish......" he asked, referring perhaps to the poor weather and the two punctures he picked up along the way - well I had all the luck and a great day out too. Thanks John

I took the all day-bike tour of Brooklyn a couple of weeks ago, and it was great! This is the second tour I've done with Brooklyn Giro, and I have not been disappointed yet. The tours have a great balance between talking/history, biking and stopping at fun locales. I highly recommend both this tour and the 15 mile Brooklyn tour. I will likely do another tour again soon.

What a great time! I've taken bike tours in various US and European cities because it's the perfect way to get a sense of a city - plus you get some exercise. This tour did not disappoint! John was fun and informative - but the cool part was we didn't do the normal touristy places - it was the perfect blend of cool spots (stopping for chocolate tasting and seeing a neat whiskey distillery) and surprise views along the way. I can't recommend this tour enough!!

Thank you so much for your review. Yes, our tours are not scripted! We like them to feel much more personal and intimate.
