We made reservations to go on Christmas day. If the park required reservations, then they should have some sense of how many people will be in the park that day and make staffing adjustments as needed. I realize it was Christmas Day, but if you choose to be open on that day then you should staff properly. We waited about 40 minutes just to get into the parking lot. One tram was running, so we opted to walk to the entrance. Thankfully my parents in their late 70's didn't come with us. We had purchased tickets ahead of time on a Black Friday deal that included fast pass and food. After the first check in, we had to go wait in another line to get wrist bands for fast pass/food. Between parking and getting in, we wasted an hour and half so far.
If you do not want to do roller coasters, don't bother! My teenage kids enjoyed this park but that's because we had fast passes. If you are unable to get this, your entire day will be spent waiting in long lines. I can't imagine you'd get on even 4 rides in a day!
Most disappointing to us, though, was the lack of care and food. Eating areas were not cleaned. Trash was lying on the ground or tables. Didn't see one person cleaning the entire time we were there. The lines for food were at least 20-30 minutes in every location. Each place served similar food and it was extremely overpriced. We had the food included in our ticket, which seemed expensive at the time of purchase. However, a simple lunch could easily cost $20/person. The food quality was very disappointing.
They were clearly understaffed in every area. There was never any staff person around to even ask a question. We hadn't been here in years and feel no need to go back. Ever.
