I visited Busch Gardens with two teenagers who enjoy rollercoasters. We visited on a Friday and stayed the entire day (10am-6pm). Parking was a breeze and for the first few hrs, the lines for the rides were minimal. In the afternoon, the queues were longer - 25-40 mins (particularly for Cheetah Hunt, Tigris, and Sheikra). The only disappointing part was Kumba was closed on our visit. We did get to see some of the animals, including a great pic of the hippo swimming in the water through the viewing glass. I unfortunately did not get to see any shows but I did pay extra ($40/person) for the Serengeti Safari Tour. You get very close to the giraffes and you get to feed them. It’s a great opportunity for a photo opt and we all enjoyed it. The tour includes a photographer but I took my own photos. I’d say the giraffes was the highlight of the Safari Tour. Because I likely won’t be visiting again for a very long time, I think it was worth the extra cost to experience it. The food was typical theme park food - expensive and overall poor quality. We ate at the Overlook - pizza, tenders, fries. It was meh. The train ride and Skyride are included in your park admission though the Skyride was not in service that day due to the windy weather. The train ride gives you a distant view of the animals and takes you to the other end of the park. You do have to get off that station and get back on if you want to ride it completely through the park. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and I think the price for the park admission is a good value.
