This was our second visit too Busch Gardens. We did the Safari to see the animals this time also. It was pretty expensive for the Safari and overpriced in my opinion. You get in the back of a big truck that you have to stand in to see rhinos and giraffes. You can't pet any of the animals so for the price you can see just as much from the fences. It was busy for Christmas week. Biggest gripe was that there were no drink stations set up. You had to walk from one side to the other to find a vendor.

If you like roller coasters, you can have one of every variety here. The animals were completely incidental. If you have been to Africa, I doubt you would appreciate the effort on Africa. This is a smaller and homestyle park for families. It affords opportunities for the person who likes to stay local.

Great park in general with animals/rides. But super long lines everywhere. We got food pass along with our tickets and literally waited 40minutes in average every time we had to pick our meals which was very frustrating experience. Park did not have a concept of Fastpass that you could reserve. Express passes where very expensive. Hope the park proactively solves these issues. It started getting better later in day after the school crowd started diminishing. For first time visitor experience felt could have passed this park for orlando. Would not recommend visiting in April around local school spring break.
