On the day we bought our tickets for, the park was only open from 3pm-9pm. But due to inclement weather, at 7:00, they announced that the park would be closing at 7:30. And even though we were in the 'front car' line at Alpengeist at 6:55, we were told that we had to get out of that line and ride in another empty row other than the front or we wouldn't be able to ride at all. The interactive map was hard to work and some attractions weren't labeled on the map at all. We saw a building on the map that we were approaching that looked like a warehouse... Only to find out that it was an attraction that wasn't even labeled as an indoor coaster. Because we've never been to that park, we spent most of our time trying to figure out how to get from point a to point b. A lot of attractions were not operating. Some were due to annual maintenance. Some were down due to maintenance issues. And some were down due to low staffing. Add them all up and it seems like maybe 60-70% of the park was operational. The staff we talked to, in the shops, were pleasant.

Busch Gardens delivers like always. Most rides were closed, but the temperature was under the limit for the rides/scheduled maintenance/permanent closer/ critical repairs which we can all understand when looking at a theme park in WINTER... With that being said Mardi Gras was the star of the show. From the food to the shows everything was delicious! I loved the gumbo so much we went back the next weekend just for that. Now we can all hope to have the warm days in between the cold ones they are not guaranteed and the rides dont work their best in the cold. The team members made it worth being there anyways. I love being a passholder and I look forward to another great season. Happy Early Birthday BG!!!

If you plan on going I highly recommend somehow avoiding to eat the food here. Their food is terrible and almost inedible. Let alone they have the audacity to charge 18$ for a wrap that is sitting in a fridge that has to be uncovered because the wrap itself was hard and stale. Paid 72$ for the all day dine to get terrible tasting food. The trappers bbq was so dried out from sitting under a heat lamp. The most edible thing was a carrot cake cupcake. Did the all day dine at sea world and it was fantastic. Not sure how BGW and SWO are owned by the same company. I hope it’s better during some of the other events otherwise I feel I wasted my money on membership. The park itself was alright. Didn't have any “wow factors” but, it was something to do. A bunch of the rides are closed as well. Just wish the website was more transparent about things that are closed.
