You'll delve into art, engage with the work on view, and chat with local gallerists and artists. In just two hours, you'll get to know Canyon Road and gain a new perspective on art.

This tour isn't just for art lovers––you'll also learn about the history of Santa Fe, how it became a hub for the arts, and see charming historic architecture.

  • Minimum numbers may apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough participants to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
  • Minimum age is 10 years. If you have younger children, please contact us so we can discuss options with you. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • We will be walking about 3/4 of a mile. Please wear comfortable shoes.
  • Santa Fe is hot and dry in the summer and can be cold and snowy in the winter. Please dress appropriately and bring bottled water with you.
  • Canyon Road is a historic area with uneven sidewalks. Many of the galleries have steps between interior rooms. If you have mobility restrictions, please contact us directly so that we can discuss options with you.
  • Public restrooms are limited on Canyon Road. Please use the restroom before arriving for the tour.

We had done a private tour with Elaine last year on Canyon Road and had a wonderful time, so we did so again this year. She quickly engaged with us and we saw art we didn't see last year which for us was highlighted with the time at the end in a gallery of Western art which we really didn't expect to be so fascinating. One aspect of this tour we really appreciate and enjoy is the time in conversation about the art with the three of us and Elaine as well as some of the gallery owners. Always she pulls out questions for us to consider while looking at the art. We then convene after looking considering the various works and discuss what made a particular one compelling. Our son is twelve and Elaine engages him quickly. He loves this tour and wanted to return to Canyon Road the next day.

We had a superb walk through of this incredible art area in Santa Fe. Elaine was extremely knowledgable and each gallery that we visited told us we were 'in good hands.' She planned a great tour that included many art styles. Our two boys, who were skeptical to start, really enjoyed it as well. After the tour we walked over to Kakawa Chocolate House which was delicious (their chocolate chip cookies are like Tate's - only better!)
