Liam was very knowledgeable, easy to be with for lengthy tour, and very accommodating. Capital, Library of Congress wonderful surprise in terms of architectural wonder, outside Supreme court, Folger Shakespeare museum also well done. Highly recommend.

Liam guided us through interesting places we would not have otherwise seen. The library is magnificent. The Shakespeare (Folger) museum interesting. Also got us into the capitol building which I could not do on my own. Very knowledgable guide and a good overview of the capitol and some surrounding buildings.

Tour didn’t start well with me ringing. Twice to work out if tour guide was coming / they were 10 mins late with no warning rather than 10 Mins early and then the first thing in our tour was the library of Congress and they (tour company) weren’t even organized enough to know the library was closed to the public that day - so I was pretty nonplussed from there on. The guide did say he’d give us 50% off tour cost which was appreciated and offered nicely without promoting but to be honest it just means we have to get ourselves back there at some other point in our short holiday to try and do it ourselves. We then went to the Supreme Court and had a long time standing around listening to things that were unfamiliar to us as foreigners (lots of names dropped and lots of detail that we weren’t as interested in and frankly didn’t need to know rather than more simple and slower delivery of pertinent info - I found myself wishing I could just read the info out there for the public on the information boards). Then we went to the Shakespeare theatre - nice but just a quick visit to see inside and then the Capitol building where we were left by our guide and joined the public tour everyone goes on! Could have done the whole experience in our own without paying all that - just walked into the library and done a tour (free in the hour) then read the boards in the Supreme Court (free) and paid the smaller amount to do the Capitol Hill tour with the normal Public. So all up - not a fan of this tour.
