If you are going to snorkel or want to swim with dolphins, this is the one to go with. Half day tour starts out by fitting snorkel gear. They were able to accommodate my husbands vision impairment with special goggles. Then they first will search for dolphin pods which they spotted 3. When they spot a pod, they instruct everyone to quickly jump off the boat and start swimming. You do not really interact with the dolphins, but they will swim right along with you (or under you). Note-you do need to be a strong swimmer for this part, to keep up with the dolphins and straight up be in the deep sea. This was a bit much for me, but my husband went out all 3 times and love it.
The snorkeling takes place at Captain Hook. This was extraordinary. It's a reef bay, with crystal clear waters and calm water. You do not need a life flippers for this. You can absolutely just float, relax and enjoy the beautiful sea life. You can literally see hundreds of feet down and are right next to giant coral reefs to explore. Note-you cannot stand in this water at any point. If you are looking for shallow snorkeling, this is not it. But you don't have to be a strong swimmer for this part at all. They give you noodles so you can literally just float around and enjoy. You can go back to the boat anytime.
Once back in the boat a variety of croissant sandwiches were waiting along with chips and a water/pop. Then they start to venture back while stopping at about 3-4 different spots which are ideal for photos while learning some history of the island. Once back near the harbor, the crew spotted a struggling swimmer and actually rescued him. While waiting to doc there was a giant sea turtle swimming around. So cool! For the price of this half-day tour, it's totally worth it. We felt safe and had so much fun.
