We had an epic time bar hopping through the snow with Captain Stoner! The guy is like a walking encyclopedia of Savannah history and folklore, and knows how to deliver the laughs and the chills. Scared one minute, laughing the next minute, finding secret entrances to the underground tunnels and then hop-scotching into a 200 year old bar! Don't miss it!

This tour was OK, but I was hoping for more historical information and it really was mostly ghost stories. Maybe that’s what I should have expected but I wish the description of the tour was better so I would have known in advance.

I am sorry you did not have a great experience, Laura. We value feedback in order to improve our tours. However, after reviewing the listing I am unable to find what led you to believe this was a historic tour. The tour is in the Haunted/Ghost and Night sections of Tripdadvisor and is titled "Captain Stoner's Haunted Dive Bar Crawl." In every sentence of the listing, the content is described as "spine-tingling," "haunted," "spine-chilling," with "spectral residents," where you will "feel the goosebumps." Only in the last sentence do we mention that it is perfect for thrill-seekers and history buffs alike, since we take great care to provide the historic context for these classic tales of Savannah hauntings and first-hand encounters. If there is a specific way we could have made it clearer for you, we'd love to hear from you again!
