We took a group of 24 girls cross country team and dads to zipline and climb the wires in the adventure park. Ziplining was excellent with help from Preston and Free in our group. We had great instruction and practice which was helpful for the first time zippers. Later in the day we came back for the canyon aerial course and again the instruction was excellent on how to hook into the different wires etc with Shavano, Brandon and Tony. The cross country team had a great time and I would recommend this as a great adventure for any teens!

This was an awesome experience! I always wanted to zipline but had a small fear of doing so. Raya and Preston made me feel comfortable and safe all while having such a great time! We had a large group and they handled everything very well! They were uplifting, encouraging, and fun to be guided by! We will definitely be back! Captain zip lining was a very awesome time! If your in the area go check it out and request Raya and Preston.

Another one for Preston and Reya! Our "best" are in and over the Lost Canyon leading families for the "best day ever". Captain Zipline staff awaits your return for the...you know what...canyon aerial adventure park! We want Megan back before our college kids go back to school! Thanks for the kind words, we will ask the guides to check this review out...!

Our family drove from the Vail area (2+ hours) to Captain Ziplines because they offer both a ropes course and zip line course. It was well worth the trip! We (2 parents in our 50's and 5 children/children-in-laws ages 24 - 28) had a blast. We did the ropes course in the morning (recommended in the summer as the afternoon can get pretty hot as the ropes course is in a kind of canyon) and had Tony and Reya as our guides. There were probably about 15 people total including other families and we never felt rushed or had to wait to get on one of the many courses. The best thing about the ropes course portion was that each person could pursue adventure at their own comfort level and a little beyond! (everyone had to complete one of the lowest difficulty level courses at first - but it was still up there). Us oldies did all we could handle on the courses in the first two levels and that was perfect and took the whole tour time (about 2.5 hours), while 2 of the “youngsters” ended up doing the double black course (hardest) at the end. The guides determine when you can move up a color based on your adeptness with the courses (ie, you don't have to proceed straight through each "color" course to get to the most challenging). Reya and Tony were ready to give support (including getting on an obstacle to assist in a landing) when needed and provided constant encouragement. We all left excited, exhilarated, satisfied (and somewhat exhausted). Some of the courses are not for the faint of heart but we all felt totally safe even if overcoming a fear level! We took the 2.5 hour break between ropes and ziplining and went into Salida and sat in a beautiful, shaded park (with picnic tables) along the Arkansas River. There are plenty of restaurants in the town (we brought a picnic). We returned for the afternoon of ziplining and had Reya and Brandon as our guides. Again, we all enjoyed all of the lines (of varying lengths, heights, and speeds that cross beautiful canyons) and had a great time. We particularly enjoyed watching a fearless young girl (eight years old!) fly across the canyons :-). Each participant had different highlights and we split with who liked what more. We would recommend this company and this adventure if you are looking for either/both types of fun.
