Eleven miles northeast of Boerne at 325 Kreutzberg Rd. in the scenic Texas Hill Country is Cave Without a Name, a natural, living cavern, and some say the most beautiful in Texas. The the cave is 39 miles from downtown San Antonio. It was opened for public tours in 1939, and is designated a National Natural Landmark. Experienced guides take you on a tour which is both entertaining and educational for visitors of all ages. It begins with a magical descent down 126 steps taking you back in time many thousands of years. Eighty feet below the surface, the cave maintains a constant temperature of 66 degrees. The complexity of the cave formations make the first visit and every subsequent visit an awakening experience of nature's underground masterpiece. *Uber & Lyft are difficult to obtain return passage from our location so we recommend you have a scheduled return if you use those services.

Tours begin at the top of the hour at 325 Kreutzberg Rd, Boerne, TX 78006. There is no meet-up point. Please arrive at the Visitor Center 20 minutes before your tour to allow for check-in and restroom visits. The last tour of the day is one hour before closing. Only water is allowed in the cave. We suggest you wear supportive shoes and bring your camera!

What an adventure. This cave was so exciting. It is very easy to get o to whether young or old. Wear shoes with a grip on the bottom as some areas were slippery. Our tour guide was great

The tour was great. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. When they turned out the lights, it was terrific and terrifying! The stairs were a little too much for me though.
