This tour is a great way to see some of the historical sights and hear some amazing stories. Joe is candid and hilarious. I would totally recommend this tour if you are interested in crime and history.

This tour was the first activity I had the opportunity to enjoy at the head of a whirlwind weekend of sightseeing. My guide Ted, was exactly the jumpstart to the weekend I was looking for, taking the group through Philadelphia's historic district from Christ Church Cemetary, the Betsy Ross House, Elfreth's Alley and back in full circle around to Christ Church itself. Not only was the tour delightfully designed around walking content ripe with Philadelphia's role in the life and crimes of such infamous characters as H.H. Holmes and Joe "The Shoemaker" Kallinger, but for someone entirely new to navigating the district the tour served to lay out stop after stop on follow-up stops for the trip. Highly entertaining, interactive, personalized and most of all, recommended with well-earned and deserved five stars. Thanks again Ted!

This tour was so interesting and thanks to our awesome tour guide Ted, we were given so many more stories about the amazing history in Philadelphia than we anticipated. We were completely hooked by Ted’s story-telling and infinite knowledge of all things historical and creepy about Philly!
