We were really excited about this heading into it, but were pretty disappointed. The driver didn’t talk much, and while he did point out various landmarks, he spoke soooooo softly we could barely hear a word, and acted a bit disgruntled when I had to keep asking what he said. We saw the other tour guide behind us and he seemed to be giving a much more genial tour (turning around and talking to them SO THEY COULD HEAR lol) and his guests were having fun. Our driver also didn’t make much small talk or conversation. My seat was also coming off the carriage the entire time so it felt a bit gross trying to push the cushion part back in (dust and such behind the cushion over the steel seat) - it wasn’t a cushion that was supposed to do that, I think it was just unglued. I would do the cheaper tour for sure, it felt like so much money for 45 minutes of me and my hubby asking questions of what was going on in the park. We DID get to hop off at two locations and the driver took 2 pics of us.

Henry was an amazing driver. And his horse Lucky Sammy was super gentle and sweet. Very romantic ride. We loved the experience. Definitely 100/10 would recommend.

We had Mario as our guide and he and his horse Johnny Walker treated me and my mom like queens! He made the evening special by giving us so many insights on Central Park and he let us feed and pet the horse. He even spoke to us in Spanish, which my mom really appreciated. We were treated very well and he took many beautiful photos! My mom and I will never forget the special and magical experience of riding through Central Park on a horse drawn carriage :) Also, the horses are so well maintained they even get more vacation time than me !! I definitely recommend this attraction when visiting NYC.
