Fantastic experience! I learned a lot about composition and my camera, and came away with some great photos.

My 11-year old son and I did a three-hour safari in Central Park and it was one of the best things we've done together. Zim, our guide, was fantastic and made the whole experience great. We learned tons about the controls for our cameras, how to compose shots, finding the best place to take a picture from and lots more. Within a few hundred yards in Central Park, we found dozens of different amazing locations for pictures of all different sorts. Zim gave great feedback and really made the whole time amazing. My son also did an hour-long camera refresher over Zoom with Zim the night before and she gave him a lot of great pointers to help him get ready for the main event the next day. As NYC residents, it's not often that we get to be tourists at home, but it was a fantastic experience and I would recommend it to locals or tourists alike! We are looking forward to doing other safaris with NYC Photo Safaris in the future.
