Ann was recommended by two of my friends from Anderson, South Carolina, which is her best girlfriend! Ann was so knowledgeable about Charleston since she grew up in this area. Not only did she tell us about the wonderful history of Charleston but she knew about many residents that lived and still live in the houses today from generations to generations. Personal stories that she told plus all the history really made this tour the best ever. My girlfriends and I all agree that this is one of the best tours we’ve ever been on. Ann has so much knowledge, so much energy, her memory excellent, and she’s cute as a bug. You will love Ann as much as we did and learn so much more about Charlestons history. Thank you Ann. A girls trip to Charleston wasn’t complete until we arranged a private tour of the historic parts of the city with Ann Garris. Ann’s history of the city was more interesting because she interspersed so many funny tidbits and human interest stories. She was born in Charleston and clearly has a love for the people, history, and traditions of this beautiful city.

My mom and I wanted to take a tour of Charleston to learn more about its history. The tour was very thorough and Mrs. Ann was very kind. We went to multiple pole different historic sites and I learned a lot.
