Funny Bus

The Funny Bus Charlotte Comedy City Tour departs at 1st Ward Park (301 E 7th St), by the Light Rail tracks. You can bring your own beer or wine, and there’s a quick break at a local bodega for more beverages or to use the restroom. Your tour guide is a local comedian and puts a comedic spin on the sights, sounds, and history as we explore all four wards of the Queen City and some of the cool-hip neighborhoods surrounding the city (South-End, NoDa, Plaza Midwood, Plaza Hills, and Historic Fourth Ward.) Please note: Due to the mature nature of the jokes on the bus, this tour is intended for adults only. Those under 16 are prohibited, and no babies or small children are allowed on the bus. If tickets are purchased for children, they will not be allowed to board, and no refund will be issued.

I did the Funny Bus Tour in Charlotte with my wife a few weeks ago. If you love stand-up comedy and rapid fire “off the cuff” jokes in a relaxing setting with a beautiful back-drop of a charming city at all points of the way, then this is the tour for you. Knowing that they’ve been in business for only a couple of months, I was thoroughly impressed with the organization and friendliness of the entire staff. I heard good things ahead of time about the comedian we were scheduled for (Kevin) and I’ve got to agree, he’s a funny dude. The tour takes you around various locations in Charlotte while the guide provides historical talking points along the way putting a very comical spin on it all. Another great point to this is that the audience adds to the overall experience. The more fun and energetic the people on the bus are, the more engaging the entire experience will be. You also get to BYOB which is a plus and they even provide a halfway stopping point at the NC Music Factory beer garden. This is a great option to start an evening showing your out of town friends or family members what the Queen City has to offer. They pick up and drop off at a convenient location that is certainly within walking distance of many dining and lodging options in Charlotte. Highly recommended.
