For over 50 years, NOC has been guiding guests on the Chattooga River. NOC's founder, Payson Kennedy was a stunt double in the movie Deliverance, filmed on the Chattooga River.

That Chattooga is a Wild and Scenic River, protected by the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1974, which provides the southeast most wilderness rafting trip.

We had the BEST day on section III of the river with NOC . Our guide Owen was AMAZING! The sweetest, nicest person, and so knowledgeable about the area and makes a delicious hummus! Our boys 13 and 16 had a blast jumping into the rapids and the Bull Sluice was a highlight!! We will definitely be back to do section IV. Beautiful part of the world, our experience was incredible. THANK YOU NOC and Owen!

Excellent trip down the Chattooga. Our guide Sam (or Pam) was amazing. Very knowledgeable. The entire crew did a great job making our family feel very safe. Definitely going back to Class 4 trip!

I took my son on a guy trip along with three of his friends. We had a blast. The rain brought up the river and we were able to go further. The guides were even excited about the trip, so I knew it was going to be an experience. Our guide Caroline didn't hold back on the adventure. Would definitely go again!

Hey Chris, We absolutely love to hear reviews where families have bonding experiences on our trips. When I was a kid my Dad used to take me down the Nantahala River with our company, and to this day it's some of my most cherished memories. I think it's awesome that y'all fully sent it and continued to go down the river while it rained!! Until next time, we'll see you on the river!
