Wicker Park
We'll start off with a Roman al Taglio style pizza, then walk up and down Damen Avenue, to taste pizzas from three other places, learning about the neighborhood. You'll taste a classic Chicago deep-dish, a NYC-style slice and a long-fermented artisan pie. Along the way, you'll meet some of the owners and pizza makers, and learn about their history and inspiration for creating their unique pizzas.
Our "doughcents" are trained to discuss Chicago's pizza history, and can talk about highlights from the book, "Pizza City USA."
