Chad was very knowledgeable, both about the history of Chinatown and the food. He worked with us to accommodate one member of the group with food allergies.

I can’t say enough good things about my tour with Chad! He was so knowledgeable, not just about the food but about the history of Chinatown as well. I’ve lived near NYC for almost ten years and he taught me a lot about the area that I never knew. His expertise as a chef and food lover is particularly clear when talking about the markets. That was by far my favorite part of the tour, and I learned a ton about the different produce and meat selection and why you can only purchase certain foods in Chinatown. I ended up going back after the tour and purchasing some foods based on the information Chad shared and it’s been great for my cooking at home. Would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend this tour! It was the highlight of my trip to New York. Chad was thoughtful and kind. It was like hanging out with a friend. It is obvious that he really cares about the food and the neighborhood.
