The tour around Cincinnati/Newport breweries was amazing! We booked a private bus tour for a bachelorette party of 10 and there was plenty of room on the bus. Our tour guide Mike had great knowledge of craft beer including how to go about tasting beer correctly, fun facts about Cincinnati’s beer industry, and how each of the kinds of beers are made, such as the why the beer has a specific color. He was able to choose beers that everyone would like along with a few surprises, like a fun tequila barrel aged beer, that no one would be brave enough to try without help. The tastings at each of the breweries were large and the Servatii’s pretzel to much on just top it all. I would highly recommend this tour and it is super easy to book a tour with Mike. Next time we’ll be trying out the Winery tour!

We had a small group of 9. We did our tour during this Covid pandemic for a bridal shower. They took our temps before getting on the bus and we wore masks into the breweries. Once seated at our table we were able to remove our masks. We visited Humble Monk Brewing, Dead Low Brewing and Wooden Cask Brewing. All were great breweries. We stayed with our group the whole time and felt very safe with social distancing. I would highly recommend this tour. Everyone had a great time!

We had several things that we did not enjoy about our experience. The first was the fact that we don’t get to pick the kinds of beer that we tasted every other brew bus we have done we have gotten to pick our own flights. The second was that there were way to many people on the tour that were loud constantly so we couldn’t hear the information Matt was giving, the bus never left on time due to all of the people, and it took so long in between receiving the beers that we wish we would have just gone to the breweries ourselves and done flights. We did like the information that Matt supplied us with about the brewing process

We are sorry that you did not enjoy the tour. We would like to get you out on some of our smaller tours to see if that is better for your group. We will reach out and discuss that with you. This is our flagship tour and the reviews over the past six years have been positive if you look here on TripAdvisor. Sometimes we get groups that are a little louder and we do our best to communicate with them that other people are on the tour but in many cases we cannot control them, because if we try that then they will negatively review us too. Its not easy. The reason we pick the beers is because previously, when folks got to pick their own it took too much time, people only tried one different style, some folks got upset who were at the brewery before we arrived because we would take up 20-30 minutes of bartender time just to get our group their beers. Also folks were picking way too high ABV beers and getting overly intoxicated. We decided it best to do a true "tasting" tour where we get varied styles and allow the groups a chance to try new styles they haven't had, or revisit styles they have not had in some time. A tasting tour is what we aim to provide. In addition there are no lines for the beer and you do not have to wait for the beer. It's not a perfect system but it is far better than what we previously had in place. We are sorry this tour didn't meet your expectations, we take this feedback seriously and will talk with our tour guides and other guests on what transpired along the way. Thank you.
