It was a nice tour around the island. It was cold and windy but we dressed for it and sat outside to see everything without a roof over our heads. We got hot chocolate from the snack bar which was better than I had anticipated. The loading and unloading of passengers went smoothly. There are restrooms that are easily accessible before getting on or after leaving the boat. The guide was good and kept us well informed along the way. The Statue of Liberty was very impressive and the boat switched directions so everyone could get a good view no matter what side you sat on. We had a good time.

My wife and I took this tour a couple of years ago and liked it so wanted to do it again. One of the highlights was that it was a complete circuit of the island. This time they knew before the tour started that it wasn’t going to make a full circle because of high tides, but they didn’t say anything to us before the tour. I would have canceled and done something else with our time if I had known it was likely it wasn’t going to be a full circuit. Note - they *said* they were going to try to make it, but the actions of the tour guide clearly indicated he knew it wasn’t going to be a full circle. The tour itself was well done - the tour guide (David) was very entertaining and knowledgeable, but they didn’t treat us honestly. I personally will most likely not go on anything Circle Line again. I would recommend them to others, but they didn’t treat us honestly and anyone booking should verify the itinerary if it is important. It would be 5 stars for the tour if they had completed the tour, it would be 1 star because it was bait and switch, so average 3 stars. They should have given us the knowledge to make an informed decision. The tour is called “Complete” but it wasn’t.

Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed to know that you did not enjoy your experience with us. We do our best to notify guests when we are unable to complete the full island tour but there may be times of high tide/ice/bridge closures that may interfere. We would like to discuss further, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Really enjoyed this tour and a super trip right around manhattan with good sights of the other Boroughs. Fascinating to go right around the top. The commentary from the host was really good, informative and some personal stories to break up the journey. Very good catering facilities on board although we just had cup of tea. I thought the tour was very good value considering the dear prices of everything in NYC
