Rent our 100% Clear Canoes and paddle down the beautiful spring fed Silver River! While paddling you will come across local wildlife such as birds, fish, manatees, and rhesus monkeys to name a few! Our Clear Canoes offer a unique experience for viewing the wildlife beneath you!

Most springs in Florida have just one spring head. At Silver Springs there are 30 documented spring heads. With your Clear Canoeing rental you are able to paddle over the spring heads an enjoy the view.

You are renting the canoe and you are free to explore without being tied down to a guide. No guide mean are you not rushed to keep up the pace. You can take your time viewing the wildlife and getting plenty of photos.

Within Silver Springs State Parks dogs are permitted on a leash. Dogs MUST be on a leash at all times. Dogs are allowed on our canoe rentals.

Each clear canoe is tandem. If you would like to ride solo you need to pay for an additional person with their name as "Solo".

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Weight limit of 250lbs per seat and 400lbs for the whole canoe.
All canoes are tandem. The canoes comfortably fit 2 people maximum. One small child is permitted with 2 adults if the weight limit is not exceeded.
Dogs are permitted. They must be leashed at all times.
Drinks and snacks are permitted. Please remove your trash when complete.

First I called the number on their website after hours. Rebecca called me back quickly. She was very helpful and answered all my questions. She texted my phone about 15 minutes before our appointment time the next morning to let me know where she was and even sent a picture. I did call her and she waved us down. Lots of other kayak vendors there, so it was very helpful. She had a laminated map for our 2 hour self guided trip and gave us lots of tips, points of interest and the best route to go. We saw 7 manatees, including 1 baby, tons of turtles, 7 alligators, ducks, birds. We took a 10:00 am time slot on a Wednesday. It was very peaceful and not a lot of other kayakers. She pulled us out of the water onto the ramp. Rebecca was very helpful for 2 old retired people. And she is a veteran!

Awesome experience! Rebecca, the tourguide, was so sweet and helpful! The amount of wildlife you see is so incredible! A must do while in Florida!

We saw lots of fish, alligators and monkeys (+baby monkeys)! Such a relaxing and fun activity after disney times :) We also saw a manatee after our tour!
