The experience itself was great! Simon did a great job taking us down the river and we had lots of laughs! Trying to get a hold of them on the phone beforehand is challenging due to their central call center system. Great customer service once you get them on the phone.

Our first time whitewater rafting was an amazing experience!! I am a single mom who took my three teenage kiddos for an outdoor adventure. We chose the Hold Rush level 2-3 rapids for our first time. Our guide Eric was extremely thorough and clear and the directions! We were able to take each rapid with confidence and enthusiasm! We are hooked! Can’t wait to go back and try the long and more difficult levels. Our guide Eric encouraged us and took care of us throughout the experience way beyond my expectations. It was truly an awesome experience in working together as a family and feeling so accomplished in a new kind of adventure together!

We went to Idaho Springs specifically for the whitewater rafting offered by Clear Creek. There are different levels of rafting, beginners, intermediate, etc. Since this was on my Better Half's bucket list (not mine), my family took the intermediate. The photo I took is of the beginners tour, which cruised near where we were staying. Three sons, Better Half, and two guides (one was doing a refresher). Great time, helps if you pay attention, do your part, and follow the guide's instructions! (I personally was on shore - altitude sickness for me. Be ready for that and don't miss out on the fun.) By the way, Clear Creek will give your photos of your adventure - you may be a tad bit too busy to take any pics yourself! Your bucket list?
