With the help of our roaster guide you will learn how coffee is processed and roasted and the impacts on flavors. As one of the largest certified Organic coffee Farm in Kona we do all our roast in house. You will participate in 2 of our production roast and will be able to run the second one yourself with the elp of our roaster.

We had Hala coffee at a nearby inn and had to find out where this smooth, rich, flavorful organic coffee came from. We had an interesting half hour or so free introduction to the coffee plantation, then decided to pay for tasting 3 coffees of our choosing. This was in a wonderful open-air lanai looking out over the Big Island coastline. It was enchanting. We of course bought coffee to bring home, as well as coffee that Hala folks shipped to us. It was waiting when we returned home about 10 days later. I would highly recommend this coffee and the experience of learning about their coffee growing methods!

The title pretty much says it all. Cat was our amazing guide for the tour and tasting. She was very engaging and knowledgeable. We tasted 6 different coffees to guide our purchases. Cat explained each one, helping us to understand more about the coffees we were tasting. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
