This zip line course exceeded all of my expectations - and my expectations were very high to begin with since my son’s family had done this course in March and they said it was incredible.
The zip lines on each of the two courses progressively increase in length, speed and awesome scenery. The last few zip lines we did were spectacular. We zipped across lines 1,500 to 1,800 feet long above the trees (up in the mountains) and touched almost 50 miles per hour on a few of them. We crossed two suspension bridges that were high above the canyon which made the experience even more thrilling.
I remember waiting to start a run on one of the long zip lines and my heart was pounding. It wasn’t from fear. It was from the excitement I was feeling and I couldn’t wait to get going.
The staff who worked with us were all friendly and paid the closest attention to the safety details when they helped us get “geared up.”
We had the great fortune of having Carl and Ken as our guides on the course and they were absolutely terrific. This dynamic duo made my wife and I feel totally safe and comfortable during the three hours we spent with them. They advised us on what to expect on each zip line and how best to approach the run to get the most enjoyment out of it. Their stories and humor kept all of us at ease.
When we finished, my wife said, “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could do it all over again this afternoon?”
That’s how fun it was.
