Not what we expected at all. We saw a hundred or so bats milling about the underside of the bridge but no mass of bats leaving the bridge like depicted on the advertising. The three young men giving the tour were stumbling through their spiel. Kayaks, life vests and paddles were in poor condition.

Hi there we actually do not do any of the advertising for Trip Advisor or Viator. This was done by the booking platform itself. We are sorry though as this bat season has been extremely frustrating with the bats taking off later then ever. We have pushed our start time all the way back to 8 pm because of this.

Nothing memorable. Only saw a couple of bats. Did not live up to billing. Very disappointed. The kayaking was okay, but the purpose was to see the bats.

Hi there we have had an extremely frustrating bat season this year. We cannot make them come out in a huge wave, but it is why we have slowly bumped our tour to the latest start time we have ever had in order to combat this issue.

We were on this kayak tour early in the season, so bat sitings were not a given. At first, the guides just seemed to let us row away pretty much on our own from the starting point, so it was fun but not necessarily interactive, but this changed as we got nearer the bridge. We were very lucky and saw a good number of bats; others who went later the same week were not as fortunate. We liked our proximity to the bridge and the bats; the kayaking is fairly easy and it's a great way to see the bats.

Our tour has about two stops before the bat bridge itself. We're the only tour that does these stops, but we do send you about a half mile at the beginning to the first stop. There should be tour guides layered throughout the group if we have three total guides we have one in the front, back, and in the middle. They're there to answer any questions and give small bits of information in between stops.
