It was not the best day for viewing but we still saw a ton of manatees and our guide was very informative about not just them, but other wildlife, the area, and the history. We were very close to numerous manatees and would go back again!

The kayak guide was very good and we enjoyed the trip. The water in crystal river is murky and the region is a manatee refuge ( the Manatee resting areas are cordoned off) so it isn't easy to see them from the kayaks. Else it was a pleasant work out for us.

Thank you so much for joining us on the tour! The water clarity relies on the tides, manatees are swimming making the clarity rough, and we recently went through major hurricanes that affected the clarity as well. Come back again in the summer, the water is almost always crystal clear!

Had such a great experience. First time kayakers and they taught us what to do, and we had the best guide. She didn't only show us the sea cows but named the birds, told us all the different ways the names for the canals were made up. She was great!
