Capt Chris and guide James were terrific ! We did not have the best day for viewing but they worked hard to make it happen ! We did end up having manatees swim under us ! They made us feel comfortable with the swim and engaged us the entire time while teaching us important info about these amazing creatures and the springs . We will definitely be back !

We loved our experience with River Ventures - booking was easy and I loved that they had an option for booking without paying right away. Our event got canceled due to weather and communication about it and rescheduling was also very easy. The staff was very friendly. We loved our captain Tenor and our guide Crystal - they took really good care of us, had a wealth of information about manatees and Florida’s wildlife and did and excellent job of spotting and guiding us into observing and interacting in a non-disturbing way with manatees. We strongly recommend River ventures for manatees experience.

Wonderful experience! Highly recommend this company and the staff. Everything news as advertised! Our guide Crystal and captain Tanner were outstanding. Very knowledgeable and eco mindful of the environment and the manatees. We actually watched a mother nurse her calf! Go as early as possible for the best experience.
