Emerson and Marissa were great! They found a mother and calf and we had an amazing interaction complete with manatee smooches!! From booking to purchasing pictures afterwards, the entire River Ventures staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely book with them if we do this again.

This was the coolest experience we had in Florida, hands down! Trish and Wade were excellent, as was trainee Mel. They were very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure we all knew the rules and had a great time. We came during the cooler months and were very realistic about how few manatees we would see, so we were pleasantly surprised to get to swim first with a mama and baby, and then go see another baby and very pregnant mama! These creatures are so cool, and it was clear that our guides completely respected and appreciated them. I can’t speak highly enough about this experience - if you’ll be anywhere near, definitely do it (and say hi to Grizzly and Captain, the shop dogs, for us)!!

I can die happy! No, but seriously… swimming with manatees was absolutely incredible. River Ventures is definitely the best place to do it. From start to finish, the experience was a blast. Juno greeted us and was so welcoming and energetic, despite it being 6am. Trish explained the process and was the best guide out on in the water. Captain Wade was entertaining, but clearly very knowledgeable about the bay and the manatees. It was clear that they valued this unique ecosystem and had a passion for sharing it with others.
