Our whole experience at River Ventures was wonderful. Lyndsay and Emerson were fabulous and full of interesting facts. We saw and interacted with several manatees. They are such special creatures. My husband had difficulty with the seal around the mask, but Lyndsay was very helpful and acted quickly to help him out. Our teen girls loved the experience, and the hot chocolate when we got out of the water was a huge hit. Sometimes those little touches make an amazing experience perfect!

Captain Ryan and Irish Dave were awesome! Great encounter with the manatees! So much fun! We will be back for a scalloping trip with the two of them!

That was so flippin awesome! We got to see so many manatees and their babies, and big tarpon fish. There were other groups of folx around, but there were special moments when Irish Dave pulled us away to see manatees up close. I got close enough to touch them, but none of them initiated contact, so I didn’t actually get to touch them. I wanted to just give them a big hug! Maybe next time. Irish Dave was such a great guide and helped us see so many manatees. We even got to see a pod of several of them, and I was right in the middle! Irish Dave also took lots of photos and I’m excited to see how those turn out. Captain Shelly was rad and so knowledgeable, answering all my questions, and telling us all about the manatees and their habitat. She also told us about activities we can do around here, and places to eat with local catch. I can’t wait to come back!
