Captain Chris and our guide Crystal were great. We went right to the manatees and saw six or more. They swam right under us! Then we really enjoyed swimming in the crystal springs. The sand was bubbling where the spring water was coming out of the bottom. All in all , a great experience for me and my wife.

Captain Kevin and ex-Navy Seal (!), Ed the in-water guide and photographer, were knowledgeable and amazing! The shop and transportation were professional and safe. Wetsuits clean and nice private changing booths. Did I mention the fun merchandise you can purchase too? We’ll be back! We were given hot chocolate on the boat to warm up after the multiple manatee encounters we had and we needed it! Mid-March is still very chilly in Florida in the water! We received our photos the very next day! Super happy! Use these guys and you can rest easy and enjoy the total experience!

We had a wonderful experience with River Ventures and tour guide Crystal and Captain Dexter! Myself and my 14 and 16yo daughters were able to swim with many manatees while my mother stayed on the boat with Captain Dexter. They are both super knowledgeable about the area and about manatees in general. It’s was quite chilly at first but your body quickly adjusts to the water temp and we were greeted with coffee and hot chocolate when we had completed swimming. Thanks again to Crystal and Captain Dexter for a memorable experience!!
