40 MILLES DE VÉLO !!! C'est l'expérience de vélo ultime pour ceux qui veulent quelque chose de plus que la côte de descente traditionnelle offerte par toutes les autres voyagistes. C'est un mélange parfait de descente et de montée. Le premier tiers est entièrement en descente, le deuxième tiers comporte 7 montées réalisables et le dernier tiers est entièrement en descente.

Matt and Eric offered an excellent tour from all of the communication in advance to the execution of the ride. We met at 7:30am and by the time we drove to the drop off point we had already seen many groups heading down the mountain on bikes but wearing motorcycle helmets instead of bicycle helmets. Once we arrived at the drop off point and got our bicycle helmets we basically had the road to ourselves the entire day. Matt kept a great pace that allowed us to be safe but feel the rush of traveling downhill at a fun speed. Eric followed behind the make sure we were not going to get cars coming up behind us without warning. The additional section of the cycle supreme is the best part of the trip from a scenery perspective but also for sheer fun and enjoyment. Lunch was awesome the day was perfect thanks for putting on a great show.

Cycle Supreme was definitely worth it! Don’t be intimidated, it’s a fun ride! The beginning is the same as Cycle to the Sea with a visit to the nice little shop and ride down volcano. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time and once we got to the bottom, the group was treated to homemade banana muffins, which were delicious. The start time was a little later than other tours but this is done on purpose, so you’re not crowded with other tours. Regular helmets are used instead of motorcycle helmets like the other tours so you can focus on the beauty of Maui in comfort. With Cycle Supreme, you ride on some extra routes with fantastic views. There was one tough uphill part but if you’re not feeling it, you can be driven up to wait for others like me that wanted to burn off some shaved ice. Lunch and guides were great, they made me feel safe and comfortable and took many photos/videos to remember experience later. It took me a while to get to writing this review but I remember it fondly and vividly even months later. If I’m in Maui again and have a chance, I’m definitely going to ride with Maui Bombers again.

Hey Brandon! Thanks for the awesome review! I’m amazed that you remember so much from 3 months ago! I just started offering the Cycle Supreme tour in November, and if I remember correctly, that was just our second one. Keep cool over there in Texas!

The Cycle Supreme was incredible. It was not just straight down the mountain but also some rolling hills. They do extra roads that none of the other tours have access to and the ride and the views were unbelievable. Matt is a great tour guide and clearly loves his work. He and Eric were really fun. The lunch was one of our best meals on this vacation. Also it was nice to be able to wear a regular bike helmet instead of a motorcycle helmet. The smaller tour group size is a huge plus as well. If you do a cycle tour in Maui I can’t imagine a better experience.
