This 4.5 hour Daufuskie Island trip provides a glimpse into a fascinating chapter of Lowcountry history on the undeveloped side of the island. Outside Hilton Head was a great choice to tour Daufuskie Island. From start to finish we were taken care of . Capt. Pete was especially knowledgeable about the history of the island and the coastal habitat. (We were so very glad we did not book with a company that dropped us off with a map and a golf cart!) Having Captain Pete guide us during our tour was priceless.
