Talkeetna has skyscrapers of granite and ice instead of steel. Denali, Mt. Hunter and Mt. Foraker tower above the other peaks of the Alaska Range, forming our northern horizon. Cruise up the Kahiltna glacier, right over the climbers’ base camp at 7,200 ft., and wind between these giant peaks catching breathtaking views of Denali above and Denali's most popular climbing route, the West Buttress Route below.

Did a tour in the winter. The crew prioritized safety and enjoyment by altering the tour as needed for wind/turbulence. They informed us as soon as we arrived of the conditions so we'd be prepared. Our pilot, Dallas, was clearly an expert at what he does, meticulous, and has a very enjoyable demeanor, explaining interesting things about the area during the flight. 100% satisfied.

I will start with safety is very important to this company. We origionally had a tour with a glacier landing booked, but the weather was not cooperative. We had to reschedule for a different day. When we did go on our tour, it was amazing. Great pilot, very nice planes, wonderful views. The flight was very smooth, no issue with motion sickness, as my husband can be prone to it. The pilot was very informative, and explained what we were seeing. If you truly would like to experience Denali, book a flight tour with this company. Our time on this tour was definitely one of the highlights while on our trip in Alaska!
