Your highly experienced pilots possess the skills and knowledge to take advantage of the unique airstrip location just outside the road entrance into Denali NP. 99% of the flight is within Denali National Park, giving you a comprehensive tour of its wild and majestic beauty. Fly among jagged mountaintops and over tumbling glaciers on a stunning 200-mile flight to get within ½ mile and circle Denali to see every spectacular corner (weather permitting).

Special Note(s): This tour is headset equipped, fully narrated and all seats are window seats on twin engine aircraft. Precise flight routes are dictated by current weather conditions. Anticipated flight routes will be discussed with passengers during a pre-flight briefing. Flight time is 60 - 70 minutes.

Denali (Mt. McKinley) is 80 miles away from our airstrip. Weather conditions at the Mountain will often be different from those in our area. Please feel free to call for the current pilot’s reports but know that we do not make decisions based on weather until about an hour before flight time. We will always send a driver to pick-up locations with the most up-to date information at the allotted pick-up times. Exact route and specific sights are weather dependent but due to our airstrip's unique location, we are able to access either side of the Alaska Range when others cannot. We have the highest success rate of showing Denali to our guests of any tour option, anywhere.

When we drove to Denali we had hoped to stop in Talkeetna to do a flight to the mountain. On that day it was very rainy and overcast. Two days later we were still in the area of Denali. Called to see if we could get a flight and they were too overcast there. They recommended we try Denali Air and we are GLAD we did . Wow. There were 6 passengers. . Dan, the pilot, was very infomative and told us info that we had not heard on our the shuttle bus in Denali . Some of the info was the same , but lots of new info too. Flight was smmmmooooth. ( which I had worried about) He made sure that we all had opportunity to take pictures- did not matter which side you were on. The flight was $50 over what we had planned to spend, but we are very glad we did it. It was nice that it was close to the park entrance.

The Park is absolutely is amazing - sweeping vistas of mountain after mountain - beautiful taiga and tundra, bountiful wildlife and a bunch of entertaining characters on the tour buses. Good fun and education for the whole family. We did a guided tour bus the first day and hiked up Cathedral Mountain the second day. Stayed in one of the Aramark hotels. Their staff are friendly, helpful and fun - they also run the bus tours in the park and river rafting trips. Make sure you select a hotel near the park entrance (some "Denali" hotels are miles away).

So beautiful to and from Mt. Mc Kinley. Until you have done this, you really have not been to Denali. All personnel were informative and nice. So many photographs were taken. Trip of a lifetime to be experienced.
