Took the advice of folks on Trip Advisor to reserve spots on Denali Zipline Tours for our 26 year old daughter and her fiancee. They both LOVED the experience even though they were a wee bit nervous about it. They said the guide staff were outstanding and really made them feel comfortable. The experience started with thorough safety and training exercises. And the tour progressed with short zips to make sure folks understood the guide's hand signals and were comfortable using the handbrakes as they approached the platforms. Then the zips became longer and culminated in an amazing final zip over a lake which was breathtaking! The tour was 2 hours of actual zip lining (plus travel time, so total is 3 hours), so great value for your money. Highly recommend!

Denali Zipline Tours is managed and operated by young people who love sharing their enthusiasm for the sport. And they make it clear that safety is their top priority (you can't have fun if someone gets hurt). There were ten people in my group ranging in age from middle school to senior citizen. All ten of us had a great time. The course is well designed to give you a gradual introduction to zip-lining. You're ready for the longer, faster lines when you get there. Our two guides, male and female, had a sense of humor and worked well together. The highlight of the tour was chatting on each platform after everyone traversed the line. You get a solid three hours on the tour so it's well worth the money. Highly recommended if you're looking for pure fun!

Our Denali Zipline Tour was one of the highlights of my family's Alaska trip! I (a 13 year old) did this with just my mom because my brother (a 9 year old) didn't way enough to go. Apparently, if you don't weigh enough, you wouldn't make it to the end of the zipline and would have to pull yourself to the end. Anyway... the ziplining tour was a perfect first zipline experience. They had a ground school that taught you all the basics and the ziplines increased their difficulty the more you did. At first it was a little scary, but it gets really fun once you gather up the courage to go off the platform. However, I have heard of people that have decided to end their trip early and not continue ziplining. There are also a few suspension bridges and a repel. The views are pretty nice and on the last one you zip across a lake. I will say however, the zipline goes fast, so you don't have much time to savor the views as you go across. You do have to wait some at the platforms, depending on how big your group is. The guides (unfortunately I don't remember their names) were super nice, friendly, funny, and helpful. One took pictures of your group that you could buy at the end. Our group consisted of 4 people (me, my mom, and two other women), which was a good amount. For us, they had to put us with more people (the two women) because we were the only ones signed up for our time slot. So, if everybody in your family could go, you might be able to just go with your individual family and not with strangers. Overall it was a great experience for us!
