Great to have an Egyptian Experience in the Luxor. Very on brand. The only down side is that the font on the items were sooooo small. The lighting was dim, as if you were in the tombs in Egypt itself, but the dimness made reading the plaques very difficult. You definitely get your workout on squats too, the signs are all over the display cases. I love the replicas, the encasement that Tut's sarcophagus was in was very detailed. I would definitely recommend doing the audio tour, or the Oculus experience at the end.

It’s a well done museum. Some real well made displays, particularly the models of what the tomb looked like and the history through videos and captions was thorough. The VR bonus is seeing what the inside of his tomb looked like if you went down there and explored. It’s pretty good but a little more low res CGI graphics than I expected. A good time to see once, but I’m fine with just seeing it once. Attractions like the Titanic exhibit or the mob museum I enjoyed more and have and will see multiple times.

My husband and I loved the Discovering King Tut's Tomb experience. As soon as you enter, you feel like you are in Egypt walking through a tomb. Everything is displayed really nicely and labelled well so you can learn about what you are seeing. They have some really interesting and really gorgeous items on display. It was very interesting to see King Tut's sarcophagus broken out into the separate layers. The VR experience at the end is a must do. We just loved it. It took everything we just learned and saw, and put it into a really cool VR experience. I was stepping around like I was walking in the tomb. They did a wonderful job setting all this up. It was like visiting Egypt!
