Our favorite experience. We were happy to get away from the crowds and get into our own vehicle. We made it to Emerald Lake and saw bear and moose along the way. Enjoyed lunch at the Bistro. Lots of great info would pop up during the drive in a timely manner of the speaker. No issues other than the large crowd that formed when the office was opening and the boats were unloading and everyone was eager to get started. The gas station next door let us use the bathroom and get coffee and muffins while waiting. Everyone in the town was great.

We really enjoyed having our own jeep to drive around. Unfortunately by no fault of the tour the day we were in Skagway there was a rock/mud slide that blocked half the Yukon highway so we were only able to go as far as the suspension bridge. The scenery was beautiful and we even saw a family of bears. We loved the iPad tour but were really bummed not to be able to go the full way. I gave 4 stars only because we were only given the option for a full refund or to keep the reservation. We really felt that we should have been refunded at least a portion of the tour cost. There is not too much to do right in Skagway so I highly recommend getting out of town and into the beautiful wilderness.

Nice, clean jeeps! Awesome ride to Emerald Lake. Only issue was instructions said arrive at 7:30am to pick up Jeep. They don’t open until 8:00am.
