It was an amazing experience! The staff was very nice especially Liz who we were in communication with. Our musher was extremely experienced and accommodating to our needs. Best to go when there’s more snow on the ground so it’s less bumpy and earlier in the morning so you can catch sunrise.

This was by far, one of the best days our family has ever shared. Matt, Kacey and Dane were exceptionally accommodating of our large group (10 people+) of many different ages. Our kids got to take turns sitting at the helm, standing and enjoying mushing. The adults also were able to enjoy mushing as well and it was an absolute blast! The views were absolutely spectacular. As a local, it was a great opportunity to enjoy my backyard in a way I never have before. For my visiting family from the lower 48, they were able to see what Alaska offers without freezing! Matt and Liz had parkas, gloves and warmers so that every single one of us was comfortable enough to enjoy every moment—even though it was about -7 outside. Matt was even so thoughtful as to reach forward to cover me and my young daughter with a parka as he mushed and guided the sled! Dane was so kind to one of our party with special needs, reassuring him as we began so that he was able to have an enjoyable experience. The dogs were also incredible and so friendly. This will be an annual tradition (at least) for years to come!

Fantastic Experience!! Our 2 year old daughter absolutely loved it too! She was giggling and asked to "keep going" when we stopped to take photos. The Dogs were very friendly and good with kids. They also had puppies "Rhythm and Blues" that we could meet and play with. What we really enjoyed was that this is a family business and all of the dogs are part of the family. This family are a participant and race team called the "17th Dog" in the Iditarod Dogsled race. Our guide on the day, Dane, was fantastic in explaining everything to us and making the ride really memorable. He too is qualifying for the upcoming race. The extra-huge outer layer jackets that they offer are like new and I definitely recommend using one over your own snow coat to be extra comfy. Hot chocolate afterwards was also very thoughtful. They have a heated bathroom available you to use too.
