This tour is authentic and unique. You will get to see real Alaskan race sled dogs perform and will learn to ride with them from the best in this traditional Alaskan sport. This dog sled tour will also get you deeper into the real wilderness and the world of Alaska dog mushing on a 10mile ride over tundra, forest and lake trails. You will quietly go to some amazing places. Enter a pristine environment you can only access in the winter when our tundra, wetlands, and lakes are frozen on this tour!

Included: arctic gear (jackets, pants, gloves, hats), meet & greet with dogs & puppies (if available)

Andy and Crew were the best ever. From introduction to the dogs, the sled ride and the personal invite into the home for Hot Chocolate afterwards. Andy and Crew provided the ultimate Dog Sled Adventure !!!. The scenery was Awesome, the snow was crisp and the dogs were unbelievable. This is an adventure of a lifetime and I would strongly recommend Andy and his team to anyone want to fulfill their dogsledding dreams !!!

From the moment I was picked up at my hotel till the moment I was returned to my hotel my experience was nothing but exceptional. Andi was friendly and engaging with conversation about the upcoming experience. His staff was just as friendly. The opportunity to interact with the sled dogs was fun and enjoyable. Just interacting with the dogs was a pleasant experience. Even though I brought what I thought were adequate clothes, Andy very kindly said that warmer clothing was needed and provided me with proper dog sledding clothes. The dog sledding experience itself was amazing. The scenery was breath taking. The only sounds were the sled moving over the snow and the occasional mush command by the musher. My musher gave me a quick tutorial on how to ride the sled (as a passenger) and what actions I should take in case something happened (nothing untoward happened). After we returned to the dog yard and put everything away, I was invited into their home for coffee or hot chocolate, I chose hot chocolate.

my wife and I were here on our honeymoon. we first booked an ice fishing tour that was amazing. fishing was a little rough but others in our cabin still caught some fish! the next day we had a booking for the VIP Dog mushing and meet and greet. the roads were pretty bad but the owner himself came and picked my wife and I up... how's that for customer service!? on a day that we thought new plans were going to need to be made we ended up having the time of our lives!!! I cannot express how great of a time we had with both venues but I will say that you will not be disappointed with anything you book with Alaska Fishing and Raft Adventures- thank you Andy and all the staff! you all are amaing!!!
